Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • must be available evenings
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • ability to bend, stoop, lift loads up to 50 pounds and push/pull carts up to 100 pounds
  • ability to work in varying temperatures including coolers and ovens
  • ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
  • must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings

Job Qualifications

  • Previous dishwashing experience preferred
  • ability to follow instructions and procedures
  • good interpersonal skills and willingness to work as part of a team
  • strong work ethic and integrity
  • available for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the department including daytime, evening, and/or weekend shifts
  • demonstrated ability to work with customers and coworkers from diverse cultural backgrounds
  • committed to creating an inclusive environment

Job Duties

  • Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and implements used by the store in preparing foods for sale
  • follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices
  • maintain cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves of kitchen area
  • remove kitchen trash, food waste and recycling promptly
  • operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner
  • perform food preparation work as directed
