The role offered is for a full-time Utility / Dishwasher position, working predominantly during the day shift from 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. This position is vital to the smooth operation of the facility’s kitchen and dining areas. It involves thorough washing of pots, utensils, and other kitchen items, assisting in the dish room, and ensuring that all items are properly stored and maintained. This role also entails responsibilities such as restocking supplies, sweeping, mopping, and performing various cleaning tasks as directed throughout the shift. The role not only supports efficient kitchen operations but also contributes to maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the facility, including snack bars and dining spaces.
Ideal candidates for this position have previous dishwashing experience, preferably in a hospital or extended care setting, although this is not a strict requirement. Those who join this team must be at least 16 years old, with a high school diploma being desirable but not mandatory.
