The company is seeking motivated and dependable Dishwashers to join their team on a seasonal, part-time basis with work dictated by the athletic event schedules primarily at Wake Forest University’s athletic events. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth and efficient kitchen and hospitality operations during dynamic event days where every detail counts. The dishwasher position requires flexibility, adaptability, and a high level of energy as duties can vary widely depending on the demands of each event. Key responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dish areas, properly washing and sorting dishes, assisting with food prep, and supporting overall suite service on game days. The nature of the work involves constant movement across stadium grounds and adapting to fast-paced, changing event logistics.\n\nCandidates for this position should be team players with the ability to multi-task in a demanding environment. Experience in kitchen operations or customer service roles and ServSafe certification are preferred but not mandatory, as on-the-job training is provided. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1 plus year of experience working in a kitchen or as a steward preferred
- ServSafe Certified preferred
- Flexibility to work events, weekends, nights, and holidays
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 30 pounds
- Manual dexterity to operate cooking tools such as knives
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1 plus year of experience working in a kitchen or as a steward preferred

Job Duties
- Maintains a clean kitchen, properly washes and sorts soiled dishes, and preps foods as needed
- keeps dish area free of clutter and organized
- sets up dish stations, including dish machines and sinks
- maintains clean and dry floors throughout the shift
- properly washes, stacks, and stores china, glassware, silverware, cookware, and storage containers
- changes water of machines and sinks every two hours or more often as required and properly uses chemical dilutions set by Ecolab
- assists in the timely storing of food deliveries
- helps deliver food to suites on gamedays
- pre bussing and assists in cleanup of suite areas and kitchen/pantries
- maintains trash cans throughout shift and removes full trash cans and boxes at the end of each shift
- maintains the dry storage area and organization of storage shelves
- assists with maintaining and organizing china and warehouse
- follows posted daily dish cleaning duties
- assists in food prep and any other duties set forth or requested by the chef as needed
- performs other related duties as required
