The Dishwasher position at CENTURY GOLF PARTNERS MANAGEMENT plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the clubhouse kitchen in a busy golf facility. This role is an entry-level but vital position that involves washing dishes, cleaning kitchen areas, and assisting kitchen staff during high-demand periods. The Dishwasher helps ensure that utensils, plates, glasses, and cookware are sanitized and ready for use, supporting the food preparation and plating process efficiently. The role also includes physical demands such as working in varying temperatures, frequent use of water, standing for extended periods, and lifting heavy items. The Dishwasher may be asked to assist with other kitchen duties under the supervision of the Chef, General Manager, or Food and Beverage Manager. This position requires reliability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work cooperatively in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Employment type is typically full-time or part-time hourly roles, with wages commensurate with experience.

Job Qualifications

  • Must be reliable and hard-working
  • able to work well with others
  • previous kitchen or dishwashing experience preferred but not required
  • basic understanding of kitchen cleanliness and sanitation
  • ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
  • good physical stamina and endurance

Job Duties

  • Manages the flow of the dishes used in food preparation and plating for guests
  • washes and cleans all food service utensils, plates, glasses and serving ware as well as pots and pans used to prepare food
  • assists with cleaning kitchen workstations when needed
  • helps with food preparation tasks if required
  • follows instructions from Chef, General Manager, or Food and Beverage Manager
  • maintains cleanliness and organization of dishwashing area
  • ensures compliance with sanitation and safety standards
