Kimpton Era is an exciting new hospitality venture featuring four bespoke, destination restaurant and bar concepts located in a vibrant urban setting, including a street-level Latin Restaurant & Taqueria, an upscale New York-style Brasserie, an all-day coffee and cocktail lounge, and an Asian izakaya boasting 360-degree views of iconic landmarks like Rockefeller Center and Radio City. The Dishwasher role at Kimpton Era plays a crucial role in supporting the seamless daily operation of multiple cutting-edge food and beverage concepts within the complex. This position is responsible for overseeing all dishwashing operations and maintaining kitchen organization across these diverse outlets. The dishwasher ensures efficient cleaning and sanitation of all kitchen dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and equipment, adhering strictly to health and safety standards and sanitation protocols. This role carries significant importance as it directly impacts the efficiency and cleanliness essential to both front- and back-of-house teams. The dishwasher contributes to a safe, hygienic kitchen environment while supporting overall staff productivity during busy service periods and special events.

Responsibilities include efficiently washing, sanitizing, and stacking all items using industrial dishwashing machines or manual methods when necessary, maintaining and troubleshooting dishwashing equipment, and reporting any maintenance needs to ensure continuous operation. Additionally, the dishwasher regularly cleans and organizes kitchen and work areas, manages trash and recycling removal, and keeps floors and surfaces hygienic through sweeping, mopping, and wiping tasks.   • Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, dishwashing detergents, and kitchen essentials
  • Inform management when supplies are running low to ensure uninterrupted operations
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines, including proper sanitation procedures, to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Follow safety protocols when handling kitchen equipment and cleaning chemicals
  • Work closely with other kitchen staff, servers, and management to maintain open communication and contribute to a positive work environment
  • Be willing to take on additional responsibilities or tasks as assigned by management to support the needs of the restaurant during peak hours or special events
