The Dishwasher role is an essential part of the clubhouse's kitchen staff. This position focuses on maintaining the cleanliness of all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans used in the food preparation and serving process. In addition to handling dishwashing duties, the Dishwasher may be asked to assist fellow kitchen staff with cleaning workstations and helping with food prep tasks when necessary. This role requires a reliable, hardworking individual who is capable of working well both independently and as part of a team.
The Dishwasher will manage the flow of all dishes used in food preparation and plating, ensuring a timely and efficient return of clean dishes to the kitchen and service areas. Responsibilities include washing and sanitizing all food service utensils, plates, glasses, serving ware, and cookware, maintaining strict cleanliness standards in a fast-paced environment. The role demands physical stamina, as the dishwasher will often stand and stoop for long periods and use their hands in water for extended durations. Strength is necessary to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds safely.
