We are currently seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Steward to join our dynamic Culinary team. This vital role entails maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen by efficiently washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. The Steward will operate dishwashers, scrub pots and pans, polish silverware, and ensure all kitchen and service-ware supplies are well-stocked and properly maintained. Additionally, the role involves performing various cleaning duties throughout the kitchen, including mopping floors and removing trash to uphold safe and sanitary conditions. The Steward also supports special events by preparing and placing clean service-ware as needed and may assist in training new stewards. This position requires a flexible schedule, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with the team, and a strong commitment to upholding the resort’s high hygiene and service standards. - must be flexible with days/hours/holidays

- must be able to handle kitchen equipment
- ability to comprehend and follow instructions
- must be able to pass a background check
- must be legally eligible to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a similar role is an advantage
- ability to operate commercial kitchen equipment
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- good communication and teamwork abilities
- ability to follow instructions accurately
- physical stamina to stand for prolonged periods
Job Duties
- wash dishes and operate the dishwasher to clean all chinaware, silverware and cooking utensils
- scrub pots and pans
- burnish, de-tarnish and polish silver
- stock and maintain supplies and equipment
- perform cleaning duties including, but not limited to, mopping and removing trash
- transport and store clean service-ware
- train other stewards, as needed
- prepare and place clean service-ware for events and functions
