The Food Service Worker position at Camp Erdman plays a crucial role in supporting the camp’s meal programs by ensuring safe food preparation, delivery, and cleanup for all camp-related activities. This is a part-time hourly position with pay ranging from $16.25 to $18.00 per hour, working up to 30 hours per week. Under the supervision of the Food Service Director, you will be responsible for preparing and assisting in serving meals, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen facilities and dining areas, and adhering strictly to health and safety standards set by the Hawaii State Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. This role requires a dedicated individual capable of working within a team while exemplifying the YMCA's core values. Prior experience in food service, especially in camp or institutional settings, is preferred but not mandatory, making this position ideal for someone looking to gain or enhance skills in food service within a reputable community organization.
