The role available is for a part-time Dishwasher position at the Ochsner Medical Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Job Duties
- scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or use dishwashing machine
- ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, pots, pans, trays, and utensils
- polish silverware using appropriate machines and methods
- maintain temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by safety standards
- sweep and mop kitchen floors to ensure safety and sanitation compliance
- wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces
- remove trash and place it in designated containers
- assist with transferring supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- load and unload supplies and products
- perform additional duties as assigned
