The Dishwasher position at Morrison Healthcare’s Parkwest Medical Center location in Knoxville, Tennessee, offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to this mission on a part-time or full-time basis. The role involves maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils, all of which are critical to ensuring a safe and hygienic food service environment. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for scraping and rinsing food from dirty dishes, washing them either by hand or with the aid of dishwashing machines, and polishing silverware using various techniques and equipment. Additionally, the position requires compliance with safety and sanitation standards, including monitoring temperatures and chemical levels according to established guidelines. Maintaining an orderly dish area and assisting in cleaning kitchen floors and food prep surfaces are also essential parts of the role.
