The role available at the 35 14th St NE location in Atlanta, Georgia, is a part-time, non-management position within the Food and Beverage and Culinary category. This position is vital in maintaining the kitchen's cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring all areas, tools, and equipment used in food preparation and storage meet company safety and quality standards. The individual will operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as dishwashers, hand-washing stations, pot scrubbers, and garbage compactors. They will be responsible for washing and sanitizing kitchen areas, storage rooms, utensils, knives, and other equipment. Routine tasks include receiving deliveries, properly storing perishable products, rotating stock to maintain freshness, and ensuring clean dishes are stored correctly.

The person in this position uses chemical detergents, disinfectants, and rinse agents in a three-compartment sink to clean dishes effectively. They must inspect, stack, and return soiled items for re-cleaning when necessary while also organizing silverware and containers for cleaning. Waste management duties include emptying trash bins, maintaining the garbage disposal area, and recycling cardboard and glass materials appropriately. This role demands physical stamina, including standing, sitting, or walking for long periods and the ability to lift, push, or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Strong communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to work harmoniously within a team to achieve common goals. Responsibilities extend to reporting workplace hazards or incidents and following all safety policies and training requirements.
