The role of Dishwasher at Oak View Group is pivotal in maintaining the high sanitation standards required for the company’s venue operations. This position is responsible for washing and sanitizing all tableware, serving materials, cooking equipment, and small wares used throughout the venues to ensure cleanliness and hygiene, key elements for delivering an exceptional guest experience. The Dishwasher plays an essential part in upholding food safety policies and procedures, directly contributing to the overall operational success and reputation of the venues. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in food service or related field preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Valid food handling certificate if required by state or federal law
  • Must be punctual and have reliable attendance
  • Ability to follow sanitation and safety guidelines strictly

Job Qualifications

  • Experience working in a casual and/or fine dining atmosphere is helpful
  • High School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
  • Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner that focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment
  • Possess a valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations

Job Duties

  • Ensures highest sanitation levels for all items previously used so that they may be used again in clean condition, free of any contamination risk
  • Utilizes and implements food and product safety and Food and Beverage Policies and Procedures
  • Removes all trash and maintains loading and receiving areas in safe and clean condition
  • Stocks plates, glasses, pots, utensils, and pans after cleaning
  • Cleans and sanitizes all food service areas and equipment
