Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods ranging 6-12 hours during events or as required by operational demands
  • Exposure to heat steam and cold temperatures within the kitchen environment
  • Ability to lift push pull and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Manual dexterity and coordination to perform tasks such as chopping cutting and food preparation
  • Ability to bend stoop kneel and ascend descend stairs as necessary
  • Perform repetitive tasks as required in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Frequently required to use fingers and hands to operate equipment
  • Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as required for stadium events

Job Qualifications

  • Previous dishwashing experience preferred but not required
  • Experience in food preparation or culinary arts
  • Large-volume kitchen experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations sanitation practices and HACCP guidelines
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Valid certifications such as Maricopa County approved Food Handler certification may be required

Job Duties

  • Wash clean and sanitize dishes utensils pots pans and kitchen equipment in accordance with health and safety standards
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dishwashing areas ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and organized
  • Ensure timely availability of clean dishware and utensils for culinary staff to use
  • Operate and maintain dishwashing machines ensuring equipment is functioning properly
  • Assist with keeping the kitchen and storage areas stocked with necessary supplies
  • Dispose of trash and recyclables in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Comply with all health safety and sanitation regulations
  • Complete prep duties including washing dishes taking inventory and restocking supplies
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station including sinks counters and cooking equipment
  • Follow established safety standards for food handling cooking and storage
  • Work with kitchen team to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service
  • Assist with all event types including catering department specific products and game day events
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
