Located at Providence St John’s Health in Santa Monica, CA, Morrison Healthcare is currently seeking an on call Dishwasher to join their team. This position offers a fixed pay rate of $24.00 per hour and operates on an on call schedule where days and hours may vary. This role plays a critical part in supporting the kitchen operations by ensuring that all dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils are maintained in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition, thereby contributing to the overall hygiene standards and smooth functioning of the healthcare facility's food services.

In this role, the dishwasher is responsible for scrubbing, rinsing, and washing dishes either by hand or using dishwashing machines, depending on the equipment in use. The position requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation at all times, including washing pots, pans, and trays according to assigned procedures. Additional responsibilities include polishing silverware through various methods such as burnishing machines, chemical dips, or buffing wheels, and ensuring that all safety and sanitation protocols are strictly followed. The dishwasher will also be tasked with maintaining proper chemical and temperature levels, keeping the dishwashing area clean and safe, sweeping and mopping kitchen floors, cleaning food preparation surfaces, disposing of trash appropriately, and assisting with the transfer and unloading of supplies and equipment as needed.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of previous dishwashing experience and will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
