Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior dishwasher and/or steward experience required
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, sweeping and standing for long periods
- Availability to work on call schedule, including weekends and seasonal shifts
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow safety procedures including wearing protective gloves and slip-resistant shoes
- Eligibility to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Prior dishwasher or steward experience
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Knowledge of safety procedures in kitchen environments
- Ability to work flexible, on call schedules including weekends and seasonal shifts
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift and move supplies

Job Duties
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment
- Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation
- Washes pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures
- Polishes silverware using burnishing machine, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth depending on assigned equipment and procedures
- Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by standards
- Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards
- Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
