The Dishwasher Lead position is a full-time role based at the University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital located at 1000 South Limestone, Lexington, KY. This role offers a competitive pay rate ranging from $18.50 to $19.50 per hour and includes valuable perks such as paid time off, 401k retirement plans, and discounted meals. The position requires previous dishwashing experience and involves working a scheduled shift from 12:30 pm to 9:00 pm, with days that may vary. Additional schedule details will be shared during the interview process.

In this role, the Dishwasher Lead assists shift supervisors and department directors with the daily operations of the dishwashing department. The individual supports, supervises, and interacts with team members to ensure the maintenance of high-quality standards across all duties. A significant responsibility is assigning and overseeing daily work schedules to ensure efficient department function. The Dishwasher Lead serves as a positive role model, demonstrating professionalism in interactions with team members, patients, customers, and families.

The position also involves stepping in as acting supervisor during absences, addressing staffing challenges by adjusting schedules as needed, and conducting quality assurance surveys to maintain established standards. The Dishwasher Lead monitors equipment conditions, reports shortages or issues, and participates in customer and patient feedback surveys to help improve service quality. Maintaining safety standards by enforcing the proper use of personal protective equipment and fostering respectful customer interactions based on age-related competencies are additional key duties.
