This full-time Dishwasher Lead position is based at the University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital located in Lexington, KY. The role operates on a shift from 12:30 pm to 9:00 pm, with specific days varying and additional details provided during the interview process. The position is designed for candidates with prior dishwashing experience who are passionate about delivering quality support in a healthcare foodservice setting. The Dishwasher Lead will assist shift supervisors and department directors by maintaining high-quality standards in all departmental functions through the training, supervision, and engagement of team members.

The Dishwasher Lead plays a pivotal role in supporting the daily operations of the foodservice department by ensuring schedules are assigned and completed efficiently. Job Requirements

  • Previous dishwashing experience required

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Assist shift supervisors and department directors in day-to-day function of the department
  • Maintain high level of quality by training, supporting, supervising, and interacting with team members
  • Ensure all schedules are assigned and completed daily
  • Set a positive example through professional interactions with team members, customers, patients, and families
  • Provide assignments and assistance to team members
  • Demonstrate proper use of personal protective equipment
  • Relieve shift supervisor during absences
  • Adjust or cover schedules during short staffing
  • Conduct quality assurance surveys
  • Monitor and report equipment issues or shortages
  • Conduct customer and patient surveys
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or director
