Joining JINYA Ramen Bar as a Dishwasher General Utility means becoming an essential member of a passionate, fast-paced kitchen team where cleanliness, efficiency, and teamwork are paramount. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the hygiene and orderliness of kitchen work areas, plateware, utensils, and equipment, including the use and upkeep of the mechanical dishwasher throughout your shift. The position demands attention to detail and a proactive approach to supporting food preparation procedures by keeping the food line stocked with clean plates and handling multiple cleaning and sanitation tasks like maintaining work areas and restrooms. Job Requirements

  • must be at least 18 years old
  • physically capable of lifting 25-50 pounds
  • able to stand for extended periods of time
  • able to move throughout the kitchen as needed
  • comfortable working in fast-paced restaurant environment
  • flexible availability

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is a plus but not required
  • ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • strong attention to detail and hygiene standards
  • good physical stamina
  • ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Job Duties

  • maintain kitchen work areas in a clean, sanitary, and orderly condition
  • maintain equipment, plateware, and utensils cleanliness throughout the shift
  • set up, use, and maintain the mechanical dishwasher
  • assist in food preparation procedures
  • keep the food line stocked with clean plates
  • perform cleaning and sanitation tasks at the end of the shift including work areas and restrooms
  • support overall kitchen organization and workflow
