Job Duties
- Clean, organize, and return all dishware coming into kitchen from banquets, restaurant, and room service outlets
- Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware, and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine
- Wash select items (e.g., dishes, pots, pans, trays) by hand
- Sort and stack clean dishes
- Basic upkeep of the dish machine including breaking down, cleaning, and sanitizing at the end of each shift, monitoring chemical and temperature levels, checking for mechanical issues
- Remove trash and garbage, take to dumpsters
- General kitchen maintenance including sweeping/mopping floors, washing walls, cleaning and rolling/unrolling mats
- Complete side work including preparation of some food items and cleaning areas of the restaurant as requested by supervisor
- Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Report all unsafe conditions immediately
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality
- Treat others with respect and encourage teamwork at all times
