The Dishwasher position at MH Restaurants is a vital role responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishware, glassware, utensils, and cooking equipment using both machine and manual cleaning methods.   • Valid Food Handler Certificate required
  • Previous guest service experience preferred
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends and some holidays

Job Duties

  • Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine
  • Set up or break down dishwashing area
  • Sort and stack clean dishes
  • Carry clean dishes to cook’s line and other proper storage areas
  • Rewash soiled dishes before delivering
  • Change dishwater in dish machine every hour
  • Wash pots, pans and trays by hand
  • Remove trash and garbage to dumpster
  • Clean and roll/unroll mats
  • Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions
  • Sweep/mop floors
  • Assemble/disassemble dish machine
  • Sweep up trash around exterior of restaurant and garbage dumpster
  • Conduct general restaurant and restroom cleaning as directed
  • Wipe up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry
  • Notify manager any time dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperature
  • Follow all policies and procedures of MH Restaurants
  • Attend all mandatory meetings as directed
  • Perform other tasks, including cross-training as directed
  • Maintain dress code and uniform standard
  • Complete required training assigned through the company training portal
  • Adhere to consistent and reliable work schedule
  • Demonstrate ethical business practices and integrity in all interactions to uphold the MH Restaurants group brand
  • Effectively perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner
  • Other duties as assigned
