The role of Dishwasher at Orange Hill Restaurant is crucial to the smooth operation of the kitchen and overall restaurant cleanliness. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen environment. The duties involve washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using manual and machine cleaning methods. Operating the dishwashing machinery safely and efficiently is essential to ensure all kitchenware is ready for immediate use. In addition to cleaning, you will help keep kitchen areas organized, clean floors, counters, and sinks, discard waste properly, and follow all health and safety regulations related to cleaning supplies and sanitation practices. The role also occasionally requires assisting with basic food preparation tasks and reporting maintenance issues to the kitchen management team.
This physically demanding position requires stamina and attention to detail, including frequent lifting of heavy items weighing up to 50 pounds, prolonged standing and walking, use of repetitive hand and wrist motions, and working under temperature fluctuations in a fast-paced kitchen atmosphere. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is necessary to meet the restaurant’s operational needs.

- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications
