Currently, Delaware North Sportservice is looking to hire seasonal Dishwashers to join their team at Hammons Field in Springfield, Missouri. The Dishwasher position is an essential role that ensures all kitchen and food service equipment meet health and safety standards. This role plays a crucial part in supporting the kitchen staff by cleaning dishes, glassware, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen tools using hands or commercial dishwashing machines. Employees in this role are responsible for maintaining sanitizer levels on dish machines according to specific health requirements, storing clean items properly, and keeping the work area organized and sanitary.

In addition to dish and equipment cleaning, Dishwashers are tasked with maintaining cleanliness throughout the kitchen environment, including floors, walls, and storage areas. They also manage trash removal, ensuring that garbage cans are cleaned and sanitized regularly. This role requires physical stamina to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods, as well as the ability to carry items weighing up to 35 pounds. Dishwashers should be prepared to work in various temperature conditions and occasionally push or pull equipment as needed.
