The Dishwasher General Utility role is an essential position responsible for ensuring all kitchen work areas, equipment, plate ware, and utensils are kept clean, sanitary, and orderly. This role supports both the back-of-house operations and food preparation teams by maintaining a continuous supply of clean plates and utensils, operating and managing the mechanical dishwasher, and performing various cleaning and sanitation duties. It demands physical stamina, as the job requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and moving throughout the kitchen to support daily operational needs. This position may be offered as full-time or part-time based on shift availability and management needs, providing a dynamic work schedule to fit different lifestyles and commitments. Job Duties

  • maintain kitchen work areas clean and sanitary
  • operate and maintain the mechanical dishwasher throughout the shift
  • keep food line stocked with clean plates
  • perform cleaning and sanitation tasks including work area and restrooms at shift end
  • assist in food preparation procedures
  • lift 25-50 pounds as needed
  • move around kitchen to support various tasks
