Kisco Senior Living itself is a renowned leader in the senior living industry, celebrated for over 30 years of excellence, innovation, and compassionate care. Their mission is to create great places for residents to live and associates to work, making the workplace enjoyable and fulfilling for everyone involved.

The role of Dishwasher at The Fitzgerald is a full-time position offering a competitive pay range of $18.50 to $19 per hour. This position involves a rotating schedule, emphasizing the importance of flexibility and dedication in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation. The Dishwasher ensures all dining wares and kitchen equipment are impeccably clean, supporting the overall hygienic standards and efficiency of the kitchen operations. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth functioning of the kitchen by handling all dishwashing tasks with attention to detail and care.

In addition to dishwashing, the Dishwasher will play an essential role in assisting the kitchen and dining staff by managing food service carts, handling supplies, and maintaining the cleanliness of various designated areas including kitchen floors and storage rooms. This hands-on position requires teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude as the Dishwasher will collaborate closely with servers and other kitchen staff to support the dining area's overall cleanliness and service flow.

Candidates interested in this role should bring a positive and cooperative demeanor, showing team spirit and a strong work ethic. Preferred candidates will have a high school diploma and at least six months of experience in a similar role, supported by a current Food Handler’s Certificate as required to ensure compliance with food safety regulations. The Fitzgerald values continuous growth and development, offering access to training opportunities that help staff members refine their skills and advance their careers.

Working with The Fitzgerald means more than just handling dishes; it is about contributing to a community dedicated to excellence in senior living hospitality. The role offers an excellent chance to join a supportive work environment with substantial benefits including healthcare with vision and dental coverage, matching 401k plans, paid time off, and other rewarding incentives such as free meals per shift and bonus opportunities. This comprehensive benefits package underscores the company’s commitment to taking care of its employees while providing a nurturing and productive workplace.

Successful candidates should be prepared to undergo a thorough pre-employment process including a drug screen, physical exam, TB test, and background check, with all associated costs covered by the employer. The Fitzgerald and Kisco Senior Living endorse equal opportunity employment, striving to foster inclusivity and diversity within their teams. This position is ideal for individuals eager to grow within a respected company that prioritizes quality, care, and community values in the hospitality industry.
