The Dishwasher position at Gourmet Dining offers both full-time and part-time employment opportunities with flexible scheduling options including day, night, and weekend shifts at the SI Pierce Dining facility located at 1 Castle Point on the Hudson, Hoboken, New Jersey. This role is essential to maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen utensils, dishes, pots, and pans to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are upheld within the dining facilities. The starting pay rate is $16.85 per hour, with immediate hiring available. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for the thorough cleaning and sanitizing of all dishware and kitchen equipment. You will work with various dishwashing machines and hand-washing processes, depending on the task requirements. This involves scraping, rinsing, washing, and polishing silverware and other utensils to maintain sanitary conditions that meet health and safety standards. Additionally, you will be tasked with routine cleaning duties such as sweeping and mopping kitchen floors, washing prep surfaces, and managing kitchen waste by properly disposing of trash and cleaning garbage bins. The role also requires maintaining proper chemical levels and temperatures to guarantee sanitation processes are effective and safe. Moreover, you will assist with supply transfers and help load and unload kitchen supplies when needed. The Dishwasher position requires attention to detail, commitment to safety guidelines, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
