Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior dishwashing experience preferred
- Ability to work full time with open availability including weekends
- Must comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to lift and carry heavy items
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications
- Prior dishwashing experience preferred
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
- Basic knowledge of operating dishwashing machines and related equipment
- Ability to follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals properly
- Good physical stamina for standing, lifting, and moving supplies
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine
- Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation of all dishware
- Washes pots, pans, and trays based on assigned procedures
- Polishes silverware using burnishing machine, chemical dip, buffing wheel, or hand cloth
- Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by safety standards
- Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
- Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces
- Removes trash and places it in designated containers
- Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- Helps load and unload supplies and product
- Performs other duties as assigned
