Job Requirements
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Must have good hygiene and personal cleanliness
- Must comply with safety procedures and sanitation standards
- Must be available to work full-time Monday through Friday from 7 am to 3 pm
- Preferred dishwashing, prep, or cooking experience
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in dishwashing, food prep, or cooking a plus
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday schedule
- Good physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Job Duties
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine
- Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, pots, pans, and trays
- Polishes silver using burnishing machine, chemical dip, buffing wheel, or hand cloth
- Maintains temperatures and chemical levels of dishwashing machines as outlined by standards
- Keeps dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards
- Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to maintain safety and sanitation
- Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces
- Removes trash and cleans garbage cans
- Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- Assists with loading and unloading supplies and product
- Performs other duties as assigned
