Job Requirements
- Minimum one year of previous related experience preferred
- Ability to work full time Monday through Friday with flexible hours
- Must be able to maintain compliance with safety and sanitation standards
- Physical capability to perform manual tasks including lifting, standing, and bending
- Availability for immediate hire
- Must adhere to company drug-free workplace policies
- Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of one year of experience in a related dishwasher or kitchen sanitation role preferred
- Ability to operate various dishwashing equipment and cleaning machinery
- Knowledge of sanitation and safety standards in a commercial kitchen
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina to stand and perform repetitive tasks
- Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Job Duties
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them using dishwashing machines or by hand
- Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, pots, pans, and trays
- Polishes silverware using burnishing machines, chemical dips, buffing wheels, or hand cloths as required
- Maintains temperatures and chemical levels in dishwashing equipment in compliance with safety standards
- Sweeps and mops kitchen floors and washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and food prep surfaces
- Removes trash, steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans, and maintains the dish area orderly
- Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, assists with loading and unloading supplies
- Performs additional duties as assigned to support kitchen operations
