We are currently hiring full-time Dishwasher positions at the VCUHS CHoR location in Richmond, VA. This role is vital for maintaining the sanitation and cleanliness of the kitchen environment, ensuring dishes, pots, pans, trays, and utensils are clean and ready for use to support smooth foodservice operations. The dishwasher will work in a dynamic environment with a schedule that includes rotating weekends and varying day hours, providing an engaging and supportive workplace. Candidates must have prior dishwashing experience to ensure they can meet the demanding standards required in healthcare foodservice. The pay range for this position is $15.00 to $15.25 per hour, along with exciting perks including a $1000 sign-on bonus paid in two parts, free parking, and a comprehensive benefits package.

The Dishwasher role is essential for maintaining a hygienic kitchen, helping to prevent cross-contamination and supporting the delivery of fresh and healthy meals critical to patient care. Typical duties include scrubbing and rinsing food residues, operating dishwashing machines, polishing silverware, and maintaining chemical and temperature standards to ensure sanitation compliance. The dishwasher will also help with kitchen cleanliness by sweeping, mopping floors, washing work surfaces, and managing trash disposal. This role requires adherence to safety procedures and standards, supporting a clean, organized kitchen environment and contributing to the overall success of the foodservice team.
