Morrison Healthcare is currently hiring for a full-time Dishwasher position located at Providence Health Renton, Washington. This vital role supports the health system by maintaining a clean and sanitary environment in the kitchen and food preparation areas. The dishwasher ensures all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans are washed and sanitized according to strict safety and hygiene standards, which are essential for preventing contamination and promoting patient safety. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with varying hours. The fixed pay rate for this role is $21.00 per hour. The dishwasher plays a crucial part in maintaining compliance with sanitation and safety procedures, including monitoring chemical levels and temperatures to ensure effective sterilization. This position also involves environmental maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and cleaning of food prep surfaces. The dishwasher supports operational efficiency by assisting with the transfer of supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, as well as helping load and unload deliveries. Job Duties

  • Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or using dishwashing machines
  • washes pots, pans, and trays based on assigned procedures ensuring cleanliness and sanitation
  • polishes silverware using burnishing machines, chemical dip, buffing wheels, or hand cloths
  • maintains compliance with safety and sanitation procedures including monitoring chemical levels and temperatures
  • sweeps and mops kitchen floors and cleans worktables, walls, refrigerators, and food preparation surfaces
  • removes trash and ensures proper disposal including steam cleaning or hosing garbage cans
  • transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas and assists with loading and unloading supplies
  • performs other duties as assigned
