Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior dishwashing experience preferred
- ability to work full-time schedule including rotating weekends
- reliable attendance and punctuality
- physical ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods
- ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- ability to operate dishwashing machinery safely
- commitment to working in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- Prior dishwashing experience preferred
- ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- knowledge of safety procedures related to dishwashing and kitchen environment
- ability to operate dishwashing equipment and related machinery
- strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- good communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in dishwashing machine racks to ensure complete cleanliness
- washes pots, pans, and trays according to assigned procedures maintaining sanitation
- polishes silver using various methods including burnishing machine and hand cloths ensuring cleanliness
- ensures compliance with safety procedures and maintains chemical levels as required
- keeps dishwashing area orderly and adheres to safety standards
- sweeps and mops kitchen floors to maintain sanitation and safety
- washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and food prep surfaces
- removes trash and cleans garbage containers
- transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- helps load and unload supplies and products
- performs other duties as assigned
