Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior dishwashing experience preferred
  • ability to work full-time schedule including rotating weekends

Job Duties

  • Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in dishwashing machine racks to ensure complete cleanliness
  • washes pots, pans, and trays according to assigned procedures maintaining sanitation
  • polishes silver using various methods including burnishing machine and hand cloths ensuring cleanliness
  • ensures compliance with safety procedures and maintains chemical levels as required
  • keeps dishwashing area orderly and adheres to safety standards
  • sweeps and mops kitchen floors to maintain sanitation and safety
  • washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and food prep surfaces
  • removes trash and cleans garbage containers
  • transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
  • helps load and unload supplies and products
  • performs other duties as assigned
