Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • must adhere to company dress code and production kitchen dress standards including PPE
  • must be able to perform essential functions of the job with reasonable accommodation
  • hand use including single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
  • ability to bend, twist, squat, and reach
  • exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
  • ability to work in wet and dry conditions
  • exposure to temperatures around 90 degrees Fahrenheit
  • ability to safely use tools and equipment such as knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and heavy machinery
  • may require use of ladders

Job Duties

  • Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and smallwares
  • ensure all cleaned items are properly stored on designated clean racks
  • maintain cleanliness of floors, drains, walls, and shelves in the dish area
  • clean dish room using hot water, hoses, cleaning chemicals, scrub pads, and brushes according to SOPs
  • empty trash containers and replace liners as needed
  • replenish dish room supplies and notify team member responsible for purchasing of shortages
  • utilize cleaning checklists and adhere to safety and sanitation procedures
  • follow hazardous material safety protocols
  • comply with health, sanitation and safe work practices
  • practice safe use and maintenance of tools and equipment
  • assist with cleaning emergencies in the facility
  • report safety hazards and violations to facility leadership
  • perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
  • complete special projects as assigned by facility leadership
