Job Requirements
- Preferred high school diploma or equivalent
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent that provides required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Ability to obtain any government required licenses or certificates
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Ability to carry boxes weighing up to 30 lbs continuously
- Ability to push and pull weight up to 100 lbs
- Demonstrated manual dexterity and physical stamina
- Maintain neat and well-groomed appearance
- Adherence to all federal, state, and company liquor regulations
Job Qualifications
- Strong communication skills including the ability to deal effectively with diverse groups of people and guests
- Preferred high school diploma or equivalent
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Ability to obtain any government required licenses or certificates
- CPR certification and/or first aid training preferred
- Maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance including hair color
- Ability to carry boxes weighing up to 30 lbs through a crowded work area continuously throughout shift
- Ability to push and pull weight equaling 100 lbs
- Manual dexterity for manipulating serving spoons, trays, etc.
- Ability to perform duties with extreme temperature and noise ranges
- Ability to see and hear within normal parameters
Job Duties
- Wash dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition
- Stock supplies such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars
- Sweep and scrub floors
- Clean garbage cans
- Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pick-up areas
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage areas
- Load or unload trucks delivering or picking up food supplies
- Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products
- Perform other duties as requested including special guest requests
- Adhere to all federal, state, and company liquor regulations
- Other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor
