Job Description
Arrow Senior Living is a renowned senior living management company dedicated to providing exceptional care and comfortable living environments for older adults. Operating 34 properties across six states including Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Illinois, Ohio, and Arkansas, Arrow Senior Living offers a range of services such as independent living, assisted living, and memory care. With nearly 2,200 employees, the organization is committed to fostering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for both residents and team members. Arrow Senior Living values growth from within, ensuring that employees have clear pathways for advancement and a supportive work culture that emphasizes core values impacting residents' quality of life positively. The company also emphasizes respect and equal employment opportunities regardless of faith, race, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, or disability, in compliance with state and federal laws.
The Dishwasher position at The Boulevard Senior Living in St. Peters, Missouri, offers part-time employment with a starting wage ranging from $15.00 to $18.25 per hour. This role plays a vital part in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the dining area, contributing to the overall dining experience of the community’s residents. The shift schedule is typically on Fridays and Saturdays from noon to 8 pm, making it an ideal part-time opportunity for individuals seeking flexible work hours. As a dishwasher, you will be integral to the smooth operation of meal services, supporting other team members by ensuring all dishware and utensils are cleaned and sanitized effectively.
Beyond the basic duties, this role encompasses being a "Host with the Most" — a friendly face greeting residents and helping create a warm, engaging dining environment. You will also take on responsibilities as a "Peppy Prepper," preparing tables, rolling silverware, and handling meal preparations, as well as a "Titan of Tidiness," keeping the dining area clean by bussing tables and sweeping floors. Additionally, the role involves acting as an "Appetite Anthropologist," observing and communicating with supervisors about residents’ dietary habits and attendance during meals to support their well-being.
Arrow Senior Living places a strong emphasis on team spirit, positive attitudes, and energetic engagement, seeking individuals who love interacting with seniors and can actively support residents in their daily activities. The job requires physical stamina, including standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and assisting residents with mobility and post-fall support when needed. Moreover, candidates must pass criminal background checks and meet a minimum age requirement of 16 years.
Employees enjoy an attractive benefits package that includes a 401(k) company match with full vesting upon enrollment, medical, dental, and vision insurance after 60 days for full-time employees, disability and life insurance, employee assistance programs, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and employee referral incentives. Additional perks include complimentary meals during shifts, a daily pay option, direct deposit, and a recognition program that highlights employee contributions weekly. This supportive environment and commitment to promoting from within make The Boulevard Senior Living in St. Peters an excellent place to build a rewarding career in senior care and hospitality.
