Job Description

The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in upholding sanitation and hygiene standards within the restaurant. This position demands meticulous attention to detail, physical endurance, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe dishwashing station. The Dishwasher will be responsible for cleaning and organizing all dishes, glassware, and cooking utensils to support the kitchen and dining teams efficiently. Responsibilities include monitoring dishwasher water levels, properly disposing of trash, and preparing the work environment for floor cleaning. Working in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant setting requires the ability to multitask, adapt to various physical demands such as standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in hot or humid conditions. This role is critical in ensuring that all items are cleaned to the highest standards, promoting a sanitary dining experience for our guests. Job Requirements

  • Be able to sit, climb, stoop, kneel, constantly move around in one area
  • Be able to stand for the entirety of a scheduled shift
  • Be able to lift up and move heavy objects up to 60 lbs
  • Be able to safely lift bags, cases and stacks weighing up to 60 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a high volume restaurant is a plus

Job Duties

  • Organize and clean all dirty dishes, glassware, cooking utensils, etc. into a dishwasher
  • Ensure that the water in the dishwasher is taken out on an hourly basis
  • Remove trash and garbage from the restaurant and dispose into the dumpster
  • Roll/unroll mats in preparation for floors to be cleaned
  • Be able to sit, climb, stoop, kneel, constantly move around in one area
  • Be able to stand for the entirety of a scheduled shift
  • Be able to lift up and move heavy objects up to 60 lbs
  • Be able to safely lift bags, cases and stacks weighing up to 60 lbs
  • Be able to multitask and adapt to the high volume of the restaurant
  • Be able to work in hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time
