The dishwasher is responsible for the meticulous cleaning and proper storage of all kitchen utensils and containers, maintaining the dish room with an organized plate ware decoy system, and handling waste disposal by bagging and hauling kitchen trash to appropriate dumpsters and recycling bins. Additionally, the dishwasher supports food preparation and production areas by cleaning as required and assists other management-directed duties as assigned. This position is fast-paced and demands excellent teamwork and communication skills to function effectively within a dynamic kitchen setting. Given that this role does not earn tips, it is critical that the dishwasher demonstrates professionalism and dedication to the team and the company’s values. Job Duties

  • Set up dish station according to guidelines and standards
  • Inspect and test sanitizer for proper temperature or chemical mix and properly set up dish machine
  • Ensure all kitchen utensils and containers are washed and put back in proper storage area
  • Keep dish room clean and organized with plate ware decoy system always in place
  • Bag and haul kitchen trash to dumpster and recycling bin
  • Clean food preparation and production areas as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management staff
