The Dish Washer position at BOA Steakhouse plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the kitchen. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for washing and sanitizing tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment while ensuring that hygiene and health codes are strictly followed. This role supports the smooth operation of the restaurant by keeping kitchen and dining areas organized and ensuring the availability of clean utensils and dishes throughout service.

The position requires multipurpose skills since the Dishwasher will also assist with prep work during down times and undertake opening, closing, and side work duties to ensure seamless daily operations. Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams, the Dishwasher helps uphold the standards for exceptional cleanliness and customer satisfaction. This role demands physical stamina, attention to detail, and a positive attitude, all while working under the fast-paced environment of a high-volume, upscale restaurant.

Job Requirements

  • Previous or relevant experience in a high-end, high-volume restaurant
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure
  • Strong communication skills
  • Positive, upbeat attitude with strong work ethic
  • Flexible availability for days, nights, weekends
  • Valid Food Handler Card
  • Ability to stand long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a high-end, high-volume restaurant preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Strong communication skills with guests and teammates
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Valid Food Handler Card
  • Ability to work standing for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be 18 years or older

Job Duties

  • Wash and cleanse tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment
  • Keep restaurant and equipment clean and organized
  • Load, run, and unload dish machine
  • Monitor dish machine water temperature and sanitizer levels
  • Maintain adequate levels of dish detergent and cleaning supplies
  • Bag and haul trash to dumpster at designated times
  • Assist the prep cook during downtime
