The Dishwasher role at Banners Kitchen and Tap in Boston, Massachusetts, presents a unique opportunity to become an essential part of a vibrant kitchen team. This position is available as both full-time and part-time employment with competitive pay at $19.00 per hour. The dishwasher is fundamental in maintaining the health and safety standards by ensuring all dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils are impeccably cleaned and sanitized. In this position, you will be responsible for operating dishwashing equipment, adhering strictly to sanitation requirements, storing clean kitchen items properly, and maintaining cleanliness across the kitchen workspace including floors, walls, and equipment. The role also involves waste management duties such as removing trash and cleaning garbage receptacles, ensuring a hygienic and efficient workspace. Physical stamina is essential, as the job requires the ability to carry heavy items up to 70 pounds and endure long periods of standing, walking, and bending, often in varying temperature conditions.

Job Duties
- Using hands or a dishwasher to clean dishes, glassware, pots, pans, flatware, and kitchen items ensuring all sanitizer levels on dish machines and pot sinks are at the specific requirements for health standards
- Store clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
- Clean work area including equipment, floors, walls, and cooking area keeping the kitchen wares storage organised
- Remove trash from the dish room and transport it to the dumpster, as well as clean and sanitize the garbage cans
