The Dishwasher position at Waterman Grille is an essential role designed to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen and dining areas. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and order of kitchen equipment and utensils through diligent use of both manual and machine washing techniques. The dishwasher is vital to keeping the kitchen running efficiently by managing the cleanliness of pots, pans, trays, worktables, and food storage areas. Additional duties include floor maintenance, waste disposal, and basic food preparation such as cutting and washing. Job Requirements

  • prior dishwashing experience preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Provide clean equipment for the kitchen by washing dishes, pots, pans, and trays by hand and by using the dishwashing machine
  • sweep and mop kitchen floors
  • wash work tables and clean food storage areas
  • assist with trash and garbage
  • help to load or unload supplies and transfer between storage and work areas
  • perform basic food prep including cutting, washing, and chopping
