Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least eighteen years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience as a dishwasher or similar role preferred but not required
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Familiarity with basic food safety and sanitation principles
  • Ability to learn POS software such as Aloha, Hot Schedule, Paylocity
  • Valid Food Handlers Certification

Job Duties

  • Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
  • Follow proper procedures to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met
  • Sort and stack clean dishes, glassware, and silverware in designated storage areas
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing area including sweeping, mopping floors, emptying trash, and disposing of waste properly
  • Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, and washing ingredients
  • Collaborate with culinary team to maintain workflow and ensure timely delivery of food
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines including proper handling of chemicals and equipment
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen team and report equipment malfunctions
  • Assist in various kitchen or restaurant areas as needed including food plating, garnishing, and general cleaning duties
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
