Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in kitchen or catering environment helpful but not required
- ability to follow directions and work in a fast-paced team setting
- physical ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weight
- adherence to food safety standards
- availability to work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with some weekends as needed
Job Qualifications
- Reliable and punctual with a team-first attitude
- able to stand, lift, and move quickly in a busy kitchen
- follows food safety and cleanliness standards
- basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and tools
- Spanish language skills a plus
Job Duties
- Wash, scrub, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, sheet trays, and utensils
- keep dish area clean and organized
- break down boxes and handle trash and recycling
- put away clean wares in the correct stations
- restock as needed
- clean and organize event platters and kitchen equipment
- help with basic catering prep such as peeling, chopping, labeling, and portioning
- support closing and turnover checklists to keep the kitchen running smoothly
