This role is for a Dish Washer within one of the Buffalo Wild Wings locations. The Dish Washer plays a critical role in maintaining kitchen efficiency and hygiene by ensuring that all dishware, utensils, pots, and pans are cleaned to the highest standards. This position is essential to the smooth operation of the kitchen and the overall restaurant, supporting the culinary team by ensuring they have clean equipment and workspaces at all times. The role involves both manual and machine washing tasks, prep work assistance, and general maintenance duties in and around the kitchen and dining areas.
As part of the responsibilities, the Dish Washer helps maintain a clean, sanitary, and orderly kitchen and dining environment, which aligns with the company’s commitment to food safety and customer satisfaction. The job includes scraping and pre-rinsing food from dishes, loading and unloading dish machines, washing utensils by hand, handling trash removal, and assisting with table maintenance. Physical endurance and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are critical, as this position requires frequent standing, bending, lifting, and working amidst temperature changes and noise commonly found in commercial kitchens.

Job Requirements
- Must be able to bend, stoop, lift and carry dish racks weighing up to 35 pounds on a regular and continuing basis
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and move from area to area in the kitchen
- Must be able to use and come in contact with certain approved cleaning chemicals
- Subject to wet floors, temperature extremes and loud noise
- Works indoors 90 percent, outdoors 10 percent
Job Qualifications
- Ability to communicate regularly with employees and occasionally guests
- Able to respond in situations to avoid imminent danger to self and others
- Works frequently in a hot and damp environment
- Ability to place plates, utensils, pans and cases on both high and low shelves
- Transports cases up to 50 pounds up to 20 times per day
Job Duties
- Maintains kitchen work areas, equipment, plateware and utensils in a clean, sanitary and orderly condition
- Helps maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant and perimeter
- Scrapes and pre-rinses food from dirty dishes and places them in dishwashing machine
- Washes pots, pans and trays by hand and/or machine
- Completes all assigned prep work
- Removes trash and garbage to dumpster area
- Removes used plates and glassware from guest’s tables and delivers to designated wash areas
