Job Description

Ridglea Country Club is a prestigious and historic club located in Fort Worth, Texas. Established on grounds that were once a public golf course owned by Bernie L. Anderson and Morris E. Berney, Ridglea Country Club embodies a legacy of quality, dignity, and distinction. The club was transformed by the Luther Group, led by Clayton Luther, who envisioned creating one of the finest country clubs in the area. Today, Ridglea is renowned for its upscale recreational amenities, exceptional service standards, and commitment to providing a welcoming, luxurious environment for its members and guests. The club prides itself on maintaining a tradition of excellence in all aspects of its operations, from the golf course and dining experiences to member events and facilities.

The role in question is centered around maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dish machine areas. It is a vital position within the culinary operations team, responsible for ensuring that all pots, pans, china, glassware, and silverware are thoroughly cleaned and properly maintained. This role also takes charge of managing food waste disposal and adhering to established standard operating procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. The position requires working during club hours with a focus on organization, teamwork, and attention to detail. Individuals in this role must uphold rigorous hygiene standards and safety protocols while interacting professionally with kitchen staff and other colleagues. Communication with the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef is essential to relay updates and manage operational tasks effectively.

Working primarily on the PM shift, this job is suited for candidates who are comfortable in humid and warm environments typical of commercial kitchen operations. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime is a must to support the round-the-clock needs of the club. The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality, strong work ethic, and a keen eye for detail. They should be innovative and proactive in identifying areas for improvement while always treating coworkers and members with kindness, respect, and professionalism. Job Duties

  • Work during club hours to clean all pots, pans, china, glassware, and silverware
  • Maintain organization in the kitchen
  • Dispose of garbage properly on a regular schedule
  • Assemble all tools and utensils needed to accomplish job duties
  • Follow sanitation practices and maintain dish machine and dish area
  • Exhibit proper personal hygiene and dress professionally
