The role of the Dishwasher/Utility at Red Lobster is essential to maintaining the restaurant's high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction. This position involves a variety of tasks centered on the cleanliness and maintenance of the restaurant environment and kitchenware. Key responsibilities include washing and sanitizing dishes, cutlery, glassware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils using proper techniques and equipment. The dishwasher is also responsible for operating dishwashing machines and ensuring all kitchen and dining areas are properly cleaned and maintained. Working as a team member, this role supports the kitchen staff by assisting with food preparation tasks such as making Red Lobster's signature Cheddar Bay Biscuits. Attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to safety and cleanliness protocols are vital in this position. Physical requirements include the ability to safely lift up to 30 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive motions such as bending and reaching during an 8 to 12-hour shift.
