UHS emphasizes an inclusive and respectful workplace where diversity is valued, supporting a work environment that encourages growth and team collaboration.
The role of Dishwasher at KeyStone Center is a pivotal position within the food service team, ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas. Effective dishwashing and maintenance of kitchen utensils and cookware play a critical role in supporting the daily food service operations that sustain the health and well-being of patients and staff alike. This full-time position demands reliability and attention to detail to maintain rigorous hygiene and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.
In this role, the Dishwasher will be responsible for managing incoming deliveries, organizing storage areas, and maintaining stock in both storage and dining spaces. The work environment involves exposure to a food production kitchen setting with significant physical demands, including lifting up to 50 pounds and continuous movement such as standing, walking, bending, and kneeling throughout shifts. Familiarity with proper use of cleaning agents, food safety regulations, and infection control practices is essential.
KeyStone Center values individuals who are motivated to contribute positively to a healthcare setting, supporting patients recovering from substance use disorders in a clean and safe environment. The Dishwasher will report to the Food Service Coordinator and will play a crucial role in the operational flow of the kitchen services by ensuring all equipment and areas are sanitised to the highest standard.
Candidates interested in this position should be prepared for a challenging yet rewarding role that involves collaboration, physical stamina, and adherence to safety protocols. While a High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred, prior experience in food service within hospital, healthcare, or hospitality settings is highly desirable. A valid driver’s license is required for this role.
