Currently, Sodexo is hiring for the position of Dishwasher to support operations at the University of Massachusetts Boston location. This part-time role offers an hourly pay rate of $21.00 and involves varying shifts throughout the week, with open availability preferred to meet operational demands. This opportunity is particularly geared towards individuals who can maintain sanitation and cleanliness in food service and production areas, helping Sodexo continue to uphold high standards of food safety and work environment hygiene.

The Dishwasher role is critical to the efficient functioning of kitchen and food service operations. Responsibilities include washing dishes either by hand or using dishwashing machinery, cleaning and sanitizing worktables, walls, floors, refrigerators, and meat blocks, as well as ensuring the removal of trash and proper maintenance of equipment. The role requires physical activity such as walking, standing for extended periods during shifts that may exceed eight hours, bending, stooping, and lifting weights up to 50 pounds. The Dishwasher also supports restocking of supplies like soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials to maintain smooth operations throughout the shift.
