The Dishwasher position at Sunrise Senior Living is a vital role that supports the kitchen and dining operations by ensuring all dishware, kitchen equipment, and utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized to meet strict food safety standards. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in dishwashing or related kitchen work preferred
- Ability to operate commercial dishwashing machines
- Knowledge of OSHA and food safety regulations
- Ability to maintain sanitation logs
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform manual tasks
- Ability to follow safety standards and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a dishwashing or kitchen cleaning role is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to operate dishwashing machines and cleaning equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Job Duties
- Set up and maintain dishwashing and pot washing stations
- Operate dish machines per manufacturer instructions
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, and cookware
- Maintain accurate temperature and sanitation logs
- Complete daily and weekly cleaning assignments
- Clean kitchen equipment, floors, and prep areas
- Assist with storage, labeling, and rotation of supplies
- Follow OSHA and food safety regulations at all times
- Support dining service duties as assigned
