This opportunity is for the role of Dishwasher at the Alliant Energy Center location. This part-time position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $18.00 to $21.00, depending on experience. Working shifts may vary and include days, hours, weekends, and holidays, providing flexibility suitable for different schedules. As a Dishwasher at Sodexo, you play a vital role in supporting food service operations by ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment. Maintaining a continuous flow of cleaned serviceware is essential to the smooth functioning of the kitchen and dining services, particularly during busy events and daily meal preparations.

Dishwashers typically operate in dish rooms and kitchen support areas, focusing on warewashing, sanitation, and the upkeep of assigned workstations. The role demands physical stamina as it involves frequent lifting and moving of items up to 35 pounds, occasionally up to 40 pounds. Responsibilities include operating commercial dishwashing machines and manual washing stations in line with sanitation standards, organizing and properly storing clean items to ensure their ready availability, and assisting with the disposal of trash, food waste, and recyclables. Punctuality and reliability are critical, with an expectation to attend work and show up for scheduled shifts on time and with consistent regularity.
