Sodexo is currently seeking a part-time Dishwasher at St. Thomas University. This position involves varying shifts with open availability preferred, offering candidates an hourly wage between $14 and $14.50. The Dishwasher role is a crucial support position within kitchen and facility operations, focusing on maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in food production and service areas. The responsibilities include washing dishes by hand or using dishwashing machines, cleaning and sanitizing worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks, as well as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.

In addition to cleaning duties, the Dishwasher will be responsible for removing trash and garbage, cleaning equipment with proper chemicals to maintain sanitary standards, restocking supplies such as soap and paper towels, and supporting basic set-up and break-down tasks as directed. The role requires significant physical activity, including walking or standing for extended periods, bending, stooping, and lifting items up to 50 pounds occasionally. Attendance and punctuality are critical, as this position requires showing up for scheduled shifts reliably.
