Job Requirements
- Must be age 16 or older
- Ability to read, write and comprehend the English language
- Willingness to work standing and walking for 3-3.75 hours per shift without sitting
- Ability to follow state food-handling and kitchen regulations
- Ability to operate basic kitchen appliances or willingness to learn

Job Duties
- Operate dishwasher and ensure proper sanitation of kitchenware including dishes, silverware, pots, pans, and trays
- Hand wash kitchen items not suitable for the dishwasher
- Store items in their proper spot and maintain a tidy and organized kitchen
- Notify manager if dish machine malfunctions or requires maintenance
- Clean equipment, appliances, storage area, and sinks according to schedule
- Support kitchen staff with basic prep, item restock, or delivery of clean items when needed
- Provide customer service to residents to allow a high level of resident satisfaction
- Bus tables during and after meals and clear tables when residents are finished eating, as requested
- Maintain a clean, orderly and safe kitchen environment as required by local and state health departments
- Perform routine preventative cleaning on dish machine according to schedule
- Other duties as assigned
